Through a Dragon’s Eyes
Through a Dragon’s Eyes features melodic passages in the viola and cello, as well as in the violins. It has a beautiful “habanera” bass line to the cello and bass. The melody passes around the orchestra. It is haunting and lilting, giving the feeling of soaring through the air. Students get to work on dynamics and bow control in this beautiful piece. They can imagine what it would be like to ride on the back of a dragon. And to see the world “through a dragon’s eyes!”
